website redesign for The Depot
The Depot Community Food Centre is a non-profit organization based in Notre-Dame-de-Grace since 1986. In collaboration with other local organizations, they are committed to promoting a healthy and nourishing diet for members of their community. Through their various programs encompassing cooking, gardening, and more, they strive to raise awareness about poverty, social justice, and food system issues.
I was assigned to create a new website that better represents the organization’s core values.
approach
The new website appeals to a broader audience as it shows different facets of the organization. Through carefully selected images, the website evokes a stronger sense of community by representing the diverse members who contribute to The Depot. The new design uses bolder organic colours and typeface to reflect the healthy habits and lifestyle that they promotes.
